Bruce Springsteen & The Legendary E Street Band have added 25 new US concert dates to their 2009 ‘Workin’ On a Dream’ tour. Springsteen has now sold over 1.5 million concert tickets in 2009 alone, with the new dates expected to push that number over the two million mark.

I knew this was going to happen one of these days. Gaslight Anthem invited Bruce Springsteen on stage with them at Glastonbury in the UK last weekend. The Boss played guitar and sang on the song “The 59 Sound.” The look on Brian Fallon’s face just says it all, and that moment playing with Bruce must have been a dream come true for him. I know I’d be shitting bricks playing with Bruce. Check it out!

In response to fans’ overwhelming demand, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band and The Meadowlands have announced fourth and fifth shows for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at Giants Stadium. These shows will take place Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9. The latter date will be the final concert at Giants Stadium. The concerts on September 30, October 2, and October 3 sold out briskly.

The lineup for the giant UK festival, Glastonbury Festival was announced earlier today. The festival is happening June 24th to 28th in Worthy Farm, Pilton, UK. Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Blur will be the big headliners. Bruce Springsteen announced from the stage last night at his Izod Center concert in East Rutherford, NJ that he and the “legendary” E Street Band will return as the final major musical act to play Giants Stadium on September 30, October 2, and October 3. Tickets go on sale June 1 at 10am Eastern. Springsteen holds the record as the number one selling artist at the Meadowlands (which includes Giants Stadium) in New Jersey, having sold out 56 concerts to date with the E Street Band.
