Yes, Flash Forward is still airing their episodes. But since the show has been on hiatus since December, Disney & ABC felt people should catch up on the show on DVD in the meantime. Sure, that’s great & all, but who wants to pay for half a season? The series returns in March and will air ‘til the end of May on ABC. Besides the half a season DVD problem, Flash Forward tries really hard to become the next LOST and while I enjoyed most of the episodes; it’s no LOST.

The best TV series of the decade is back on DVD and Blu-Ray for your viewing pleasure! Lost went in a trippy, time-traveling direction this season but the results were fantastic! No other show out there today makes me want to read up on fan sites and talk to co-workers the following morning about what happened. So when Lost ends this spring, I’m going to feel very empty inside. At least we’ll be able to enjoy this series on video!

Pixar Animation’s fourth film, Monsters Inc, now available in Disney Blu Ray, continues to impress with yet another strong Pixar film. The big, fury, monster Sully (Goodman) and his one eyed friend Mike (Crystal) are some of Monsters Inc top scare team in the secret city of Monstropolis, and in order for the city to have power they must rely on the “screams” generated from Monsters Inc. The outside “Real world” never had any interaction with the city otherwise and are considered a threat to the health of Monstropolis. Of course that all changes with 2 year old “Boo” who sneaks in to Monstropolis after one of Sully’s shifts. Monsters, Inc is a cute family film with plenty of laughs, action and overall an excellent animated flick.

The latest volumes of the 90’s X-Men series have been released and the awesomeness continues! With Volume 3, there’s the Dark Phoenix saga, more stuff from the Savage Land, and introductions of more X-Men characters like Ice Man, Nightcrawler, The Dazzler, and others. Who knows if the episodes are in the correct order, but at least Disney is releasing all the cartoons on DVD!

The 8th Season of Scrubs was bit different than the rest of the seasons. The season aired on ABC, and the focus on J.D. was quickly shifting away from him. But the show still successfully entertains loyal fans with comedy and drama. Whether or not this is the true final season of the show or not, it’s still something to watch and own on DVD.

Desperate Housewives is one of those shows that have continued to draw me in season after season. Once you watch the first episode, the twists and turns make it difficult to stop. At first I thought this season would disappoint, but I’m happy that I was wrong.

Marvel X-MEN Volume 3 & 4 DVDs out September 15th
The first two volumes of the Marvel X-Men were released in April from Buena Vista/ Disney and now the next 2 volumes have been announced! The first two volumes were great and ended things around the Phoenix Saga. Now the X-Men have to go up against the Dark Phoenix, along with other enemies. As for Volume 4, The X-Men must join forces with the heroes of the future when Apocalypse, a mighty mutant, is driven completely mad by his powers! Volume 3 contains 15 episodes, Volume 4 contains 14 episodes. Can’t wait to watch these! Both volumes will be out September 15th!

Confessions of a Shopaholic is the latest girly movie to hit DVD. I had no desire to see this film but my girlfriend wanted to check it out. The comedy has its moments but it’s a bit predictable and generic.
