On Sale: Week of February 8th 2010 (updated)
It’s time for our NEW weekly feature, On Sale This Week! I’ve also added a lot more listings for shows already on sale as well. Some of the shows that are going on sale this week include: Jonsi of Sigur Ros, Ben Folds, Elvis Costello and a few others. Best in Indie Music – First Half of 2009
As with all of my previous lists of music, they are neither comprehensive nor do they reflect the opinions of all ReadJunk writers. However, with my vast intellect and ability to display scorn towards terrible bands, I feel that I have the authority to make decisions as to which bands and artists you should be listening to right now. Elvis Costello new album debuts at #13 – Highest in 30 Years!
Elvis Costello’s new album Secret, Profane & Sugarcane (Hear Music) has debuted this week at #13 on the Billboard 200, the musician’s highest album chart position since 1980’s Get Happy. The single “Complicated Shadows” is also top 15 on the Triple A chart and #2 on the non-commercial chart.
