Snuff added to FEST 8!
UK punk rock band Snuff have been confirmed for an exclusive U.S. performance during THE FEST 8, October 30th-November 1st in Gainesville, Florida. Singer/Drummer Duncan Redmonds will also be performing acoustic at some point that weekend. The current line-up of the band is that of the 1997 ‘Tweet Tweet My Lovely’ era – Duncan Redmonds on drums/vocals, Loz Wong on guitar, Lee Erinmez on bass, Dave Redmonds on trombone and Lee ‘The Mod’ Murphy on hammond.

Assholeparade release new material and start their tour next week
Thrash legends Assholeparade are gearing up to release a 7 song 7” on No Idea Records entitled Welcome Fucking Home! The songs were recorded over several sessions when the members were all back in Gainesville at Crescendo Sound Studios (Hot Water Music, Against Me!, No Friends). You can hear “Lesson #1,” “Freedom Fighters,” and “Soldiers 4” from the 7” over at the band’s MySpace page.

Fest 8 announced for October 30th-November 1st
Fest 8 has been announced by No Idea Records yesterday, and the 3 day festival will be held between October 30th to November 1st. The Fest 8 will take place at 8 venues over three days in Gainesville, Florida. None of the bands have officially been announced yet but head organizer Tony Weinbender had this to say about what is to come:
