The latest volumes of the 90’s X-Men series have been released and the awesomeness continues! With Volume 3, there’s the Dark Phoenix saga, more stuff from the Savage Land, and introductions of more X-Men characters like Ice Man, Nightcrawler, The Dazzler, and others. Who knows if the episodes are in the correct order, but at least Disney is releasing all the cartoons on DVD!

I’ve been a fan of Fringe since day 1. If X-Files and Lost fans are looking for another show to fill the void, look no further than Fringe starring Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson and John Noble! The DVD (and Blu-Ray) will be something to own just so you can watch the episodes over and over again. I’ve seen each episode at least once and still can’t figure out what’s going on!

Family Guy posted a series of videos making fun of their competition in the Best Comedy category. Brian might be voting for some other shows besides Family Guy. Of course Stewie has something to say about that. Check out 3 of the videos below:

Dollhouse, from the excellent Joss Whedon, creator of cult faves Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Firefly, is about an elite, illegal underground facility in which humans are treated in a odd human trafficking way. Scientists download skills, behaviors, and memories into the “Actives” brains and then they are set out into the world to facilitate the client’s needs and wants. Starring the beautiful and captivating Eliza Dushku, as Echo one of the elite “Actives” in the Doll house, Echo starts to have self awareness behaviors that starts her down uncharted territory. If fans of the Whedon-verse and Sci Fi did not get a chance to see this series yet, then you better get started now because it is worth it!

Yes, I watch American Idol and find it entertaining with the vast collection of bad karaoke singers who go on to record mediocre albums. Simon Cowell is one of the reasons why I like the show because he usually tells people how it is. Randy sometimes does that too but he does it in a more annoying way. Kara is the new judge and I may be in the minority but I liked her last season (sometimes). I especially liked her when she came out in a bikini in the finale! And then there’s Paula Abdul who will tell a pile of shit it doesn’t smell. Kara is now signed up as a judge but Paula Abdul isn’t and has been going through contract disputes all summer. Well, Paula Abdul isn’t coming back to the show and is “leaving.” All I can say is good riddance you babbling buffoon!

Prison Break ended the other day on a somewhat happy note (sort of). The Season 4 DVD of Prison Break will be out June 2nd, but the creators of the show have another trick up their sleeves. We’ll get to see even more of Prison Break..for at least another 2 hours with “Final Break.” The 2 hour episode/movie will feature all the stuff that happens between the events of Season 4 to the end of the series where it ends 4 years in the future. I guess we’ll know how everything turns out. Honestly, if there is one more twist in there; I’m gonna puke.

The latest Joss Whedon TV series stars the hot Eliza Dushku and aired on Friday nights, which is crappy. I might have watched this series if there wasn’t so much other stuff to watch on TV. Perhaps I’ll like this series when the DVD comes out, and hopefully Fox doesn’t end up canceling it. Which they are known to do and probably will do. I don’t know what the show is about, but just having Dushku in it and Whedon writing for it peeks my interest.
