San Antonio’s Girl In A Coma has announced a headlining summer tour of the East Coast and Midwest. The band has been taking over stages nationwide since the November release of their latest album Exits & All the Rest, which NPR named one of 2011’s best albums and recently won an Independent Music Awards for Best Independent/Alternative Rock Album. In celebration of the tour, the band are offering a free MP3 of album track “One Eyed Fool,” which you can download here.

San Antonio’s Girl In A Coma have left a permanent tattoo on the hearts of thousands with their piercing songs and nuclear performances. They’ve blazed a singular trail since Nina Diaz joined the band at age 13 and have found champions and comrades along the way including Joan Jett who signed them, Morrissey, Sia, Tegan and Sara, The Pogues and Amanda Palmer who have hand selected them for tours. In addition, Robert Rodriguez asked them to compose one of the key songs for his film Machete last year. Building one of the most impassioned and diverse fan bases in music, the band is thrilled to announce a national headlining tour this Fall! The band will be joined by The Coathangers and Fences on most dates.
