Seeing DeVotchKa by themselves is a treat by itself, but when they are backed by a quartet or full orchestra, you know you’re going to hear something special. The live album was recorded at Boettcher Concert Hall (they played at Red Rocks Amphitheater too) and what you have here is a fantastic live album!

Band of Horses was already set to play the big Central Park concert tomorrow with Foo Fighters, Neil Young and others and now they have added more dates. I kind of wish they would play in NYC and a proper club & headlining, or one that isn’t some secret show in Brooklyn just for fans. Oh well, someday I’ll see them again. Band of Horses will also be playing the Railroad Revival tour with Willie Nelson, John C Reilly and Friends and others. Another tour I wish played the East Coast.
