Yes, Flash Forward is still airing their episodes. But since the show has been on hiatus since December, Disney & ABC felt people should catch up on the show on DVD in the meantime. Sure, that’s great & all, but who wants to pay for half a season? The series returns in March and will air ‘til the end of May on ABC. Besides the half a season DVD problem, Flash Forward tries really hard to become the next LOST and while I enjoyed most of the episodes; it’s no LOST.

A trend a lot of the studios are doing now, when shows go on long hiatuses, is to release a volume of the show before the shows returns to the air. Disney / Buena Vista is doing that with Flash Forward, considering the show doesn’t come back until March. Thanks Olympics ya jerks! The DVD will come out February 23rd 2010. But the show has been interesting so far, let’s hope it can sustain the interesting storyline and mysteries. I’m not going to say whether or not the show is going to be a Lost replacement just yet.

Never seen an episode of Star Trek, never seen a movie until J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek this summer. Now I can say I saw something Star Trek. It’s still one of the best movies of the year, along with Up and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The movie has already been announced on DVD and Blu-Ray for November 17th. Star Trek had everything you could ask for in a movie: action, space battles, comedy, and of course, girls with huge green breasts. I’ll continue to watch the new Star Trek movies but I don’t really feel like seeing the old TV shows and movies though.
