Here’s the DVD Tuesday Roundup for November 17th 2009! Some of the releases coming out today include: Star Trek, Bruno, Rome the Complete Series, The Professional Blu-Ray, Kevin Smith Blu-Ray Collection and more! Not really anything that good besides a few releases. Each week I’ll list the latest DVD releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows. New Jersey native, Kevin Smith started out in the world of film making with a successful indie film Clerks, that became a cult classic, and has gone onto direct several bigger films to date. Smith always the outspoken writer-director, and never shy of controversy also released Chasing Amy, a unconventional love story between a heterosexual male and a lesbian. Finally rounding out the collection is Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, a very funny film featuring everyone’s favorite characters from the Kevin Smith films, the title characters. While not a true “box set” to the Kevin Smith collection, this set features some of the films from Miramax, yet to be released on Blu Ray.
