RIP: Teddy Pendergrass
R&B singer Teddy Pendergrass has passed away at the age of 59. Teddy started off as the lead singer of Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, which did songs like “If You Don’t Know Me By Now;” then he branch out onto his own. He’s most know for the songs “Love TKO” and “Turn Off the Lights.” In 1982, he was in car crash that left him paralyzed from the waist down, but that didn’t stop him from going into the studio to record new music. in 2009, he went in to have surgery for colon cancer and never recovered from it. Teddy Pendergrass’s soulful baritone voice will be missed.

Video: Kick-Ass “Hit Girl” clip (red band)
Kick-Ass is the latest comic book movie coming out in April 2010. The movie was directed by Matthew Vaughn, and stars Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage, Chloe Moretz, Mark Strong, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Lyndsy Fonseca. The trailer looked okay but this scene actually looks really fun! It actually makes me want to see the movie now. It features the character Hit Girl, the foul-mouthed little girl that can wield a gun pretty well! Check out the cool, restricted video below:

Trailer: Youth in Revolt (red band trailer)
The “red band” trailer for the latest Michael Cera comedy Youth In Revolt has premiered on FunnyorDie.com. I haven’t seen the trailer until now but the movie looks like it has potential. Cera seems to play the same awkward character, since…well, since Arrested Development. But this time he has an alter ego that’s suave and has a mustache. Big difference. Check out the trailer below:

The Arnold Schwarzenegger themed metal band Austrian Death Machine have released a new music video, this time for their song “I Need Your Clothes, Your Boots, and Your Motorcycle.” the song is off their newest album Double Brutal, off Metal Blade Records. Watch the video as you see Arnold stomp and dance through the video, and see guys playing guitar solos in the hot tub and under water. Yes, its suppose to be stupid.

I don’t watch Jimmy Fallon usually, but this skit was pretty good. Jimmy dressed up like Neil Young and sang as him, singing the unlikely of songs..The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song. The impersonation is quite good, plus Jimmy playing the guitar is equally impressive. Watch the video below:

Dave Matthews Band streaming new album at Pandora.com
Dave Matthews Band will release Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, the highly anticipated album following the death of band member Leroi Moore, on June 2. The album, a tribute to Leroi Moore, will be the band’s first studio album in 4 years and will include the newly released single “Funny the Way It Is”.
