The Bird and The Bee, the duo of singer Inara George and multi-instrumental/producer Greg Kurstin, kicked off a musical scavenger hunt for their fans today by premiering all nine songs from their new album, Interpreting The Masters Volume 1: A Tribute To Daryl Hall And John Oates on nine different websites: AOL Spinner, BrooklynVegan, Entertainment Weekly, Idolator, MySpace, PerezHilton, Prefix, SPIN and USA Today (links to all tracks below). Featuring eight classic covers and one original song, “Heard It On The Radio”, the band’s love letter to the “rock & soul” duo, will be released on March 23 courtesy of EMI’s Blue Note Records.

The Drive-By Truckers announced the first part of The Big To-Do tour, screenings of their documentary, The Secret To A Happy Ending, unveiled the album cover for The Big To-Do and offer free MP3. The Big To-Do is slated for release on March 16, 2010 on ATO Records. Leading up to the release the band will play some weekend runs before kicking off The Big To-Do tour with a two night stand in Atlanta and then heading to SXSW. More dates to be announced in the coming weeks.

As an artist, songwriter, innovator, performer, creator and especially a producer, Perry has been at the forefront of reggae music since the late 50’s ska movement. Lee is undeniably the inventor of dub, reggae and the “scratch” turntable effect used by DJ’s everywhere.
