The UK rock band The Rifles were finally in town to support their new release “Great Escape” that was just released over in North America on Nettwerk. I’ve been a fan of the band for over a year now but never had the chance to see them perform live. I finally got the chance last night to see them at the Mercury Lounge in New York City and glad I made the trek down.

Photos: Dublin, Ireland Vacation

I recently visited Dublin, Ireland with my girlfriend Kristen. We had a blast and managed to see a lot in 7 days. We walked all over the city and saw Cathedrals, museums, a Zoo, a prison, saw a few Castles, went in a few pubs, did some shopping and even checked out a few things outside the city as well. We went to the West Coast of Ireland one day and saw the Cliffs of Moher (Insanity! – Princess Bride reference). We spent some time in the seaside towns of Malahide, and Howth and walked around the Powerscourt Gardens estate, and Glendalough. All in all, it was a great trip and I would love to go back to Ireland, but this time see more of the countryside. This is one of my favorite photos this year. The shot is of Luke Pritchard of the Kooks at Terminal 5 in New York City. What I like about this shot is the composition, the lighting and the rockstar pose.
