The reggae/rock band Ballyhoo! has announced they will release their new album Pineapple Grenade on June 25th. Pre-order for digital and physical copies will begin Tuesday, May 14th. iTunes pre-order will include 2 bonus tracks. Physical pre-order will include 1 free song and t-shirt bundling options. The band will be hitting the road with Authority Zero in June and stopping by NYC on June 27th at Gramercy Theatre. A few days later on June 30th, they will be playing at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.

Jamaica’s first dancehall superstar Yellowman is having another Anthology 2 disc album (2 CD/DVD) being released. The album will be called Young Gifted and Yellow and it’s being released on April 23rd via VP Records. Out of all the Yellowman songs, I still love “Soldier Take Over” which was in the Club Paradise movie from the 80s. That’s on this compilation and many more songs so check it out when it comes out!
