The latest predictable Matthew McConaughey romantic comedy is out of movie theaters and on video already. I don’t think I’ll see this one, unless I’m forced to. Ghosts of Girlfriends Past is based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, only the people that visit Connor Mead aren’t actually the dead people but forms of his former girlfriends. LAME!

500 Days of Summer is the talk about indie movie of the summer. 2 years ago, it was Little Miss Sunshine, last year everyone thought it was Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist (which sucked by the way). This year it’s 500 Days of Summer. The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel, and directed by Marc Webb. The movie is about the 500 days that were spent between Tom and Summer. So wait, they don’t stay together? What a bummer! That’s okay, I’ll take Zooey off Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s hands.

Why bother going to the movies when you can just wait 2 months for video to come out. The Proposal with Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock and Betty White looked like a typical but funny romantic comedy. Confessions of a Shopaholic is the latest girly movie to hit DVD. I had no desire to see this film but my girlfriend wanted to check it out. The comedy has its moments but it’s a bit predictable and generic.
