X-Men Origins: Wolverine could have been an excellent movie. Instead, it’s just a mediocre movie that will entertain and make you forget everything that happened in it. While I didn’t outright hate this movie as much as X-Men 3, X-Men Origins: Wolverine
is still a mess and has many flaws.

The latest movie from Greg Mottola, the director of Superbad, gives off a Little Miss Sunshine feel. It’s got some funny moments, but I wouldn’t necessarily file this movie under comedy at the video store.

The Proposal available on Blu-ray & DVD October 13th

Why bother going to the movies when you can just wait 2 months for video to come out. The Proposal with Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock and Betty White looked like a typical but funny romantic comedy. Ryan Reynolds is the Green Lantern

Ryan Reynolds won the role for the Green Lantern, which was between Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto, Bradley Cooper and Reynolds. I think Warner Bros and DC Comics made the right decision. Martin Campbell (Casino Royale) will be directing the comic book adaption and production begins in January 2010. There’s no word what 20th Century Fox feels about this since they are developing a Deadpool spin-off for Reynolds. I’m happy that the Green Lantern is being made into a movie; he was always one of my favorite comic book superheroes from Superfriends (haha).
