Real McKenzies newest album “Shine not Burn” out this Summer!
The Real McKenzies will release Shine not Burn, their highly anticipated, intimate, bare bones, full acoustic album this summer, sometime in June I believe! The album again will be on Fat Wreck Chords and I’m looking forward to it. It’s a live album, but done acoustically which I like when bands strip away the loudness and just play a bare bones show. Music Video: Glasvegas – “It’s My Own Cheating Heart That Makes Me Cry”
This summer has been an exciting time for Glasvegas. The band was nominated for the coveted Mercury Prize, toured with rock legends U2, had a somewhat missing front man, are back in the U.S. for dates with Kings of Leon and today they will release the video for their second U.S. single “It’s My Own Cheating Heart That Makes Me Cry.” Check out the new video and the rest of the tour dates for the band’s tour after the jump.

Glasvegas playing secret MySpace show tomorrow in Vegas
MySpace Music is pleased to announce an upcoming Secret Show featuring Glasvegas at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, NV, on Wednesday, June 3. The Secret Show performance will be held exclusively for MySpace users who were notified via MySpace Music’s Secret Show profile. Doors for the concert will open at 8:00 PM.

Monday night, Bryan and I were in the city for Glasvegas’ Webster Hall show, and the band did not disappoint! Signed by Sony/Columbia, Glasvegas are currently on tour in the US in support of their self-titled debut release, and have already spawned two popular singles, “Geraldine,” and “Daddy’s Gone.”
