On Sale: Week Of February 15th 2010 (updated)
It’s time for our NEW weekly feature, On Sale This Week! Some of the shows that are going on sale this week include: Peter Gabriel, THE SPECIALS, Bleeding Through, The Saw Doctors, Coheed, and Converge. I’m going to try a new weekly feature here at ReadJunk.com. We’re going to list some shows in the NY/Tri-State area that are going on sale for the week or have already been on sale. Screeching Weasel and Riverdales playing Philly in April
Ben Weasel will be bringing Screeching Weasel and The Riverdales over to the East Coast in 2010. Only thing, I don’t think he’s going that far over and just playing in Philadelphia, PA. Kind of sucks they are only going to there but if you really want to see the band, be sure to get your tickets for these shows! The shows in Philly are happening April 23rd and 24th. Tickets for the Chicago shows in January are still available! Tickets are on sale for the Philly shows now, see below for details:

DeVotchKa announces Denver New Year’s Eve shows
DeVotchKa have announced a few shows for December 30th and New Year’s Eve. In Denver, you’ll have a few chances to see the band perform before it becomes 2010. The shows will be held at the Mercury Cafe, in the upstairs ballroom and will occur on Wednesday, December 30 and Thursday, December 31. These shows are all general admission.

MGMT to Support Paul McCartney Shows in Boston
Brooklyn based alternative/pop/rock ensemble MGMT are set to directly support Sir Paul McCartney for two special shows at Boston’s Fenway Park on August 5th and 6th. News of McCartney’s admiration for MGMT broke in early June. Tickets for this special show go on sale to the public beginning Monday June 29, 2009 at 10a.m. EST at www.livenation.com, at the Orpheum Theatre Box Office or by calling (800) 514-3849. Tickets are not available for purchase at Fenway Park.

$10 bucks for 10 hardcore bands?! Can’t beat that! Madball announced on their Myspace page the bands and dates of this awesome tour. Krum Bums touring with the Germs
Austin, Texas punk band Krum Bums are getting ready to tear up the United States with the Germs after their appearance at Chaos in Tejas. The band is still working on their upcoming EP “Same Old Story” which has yet to be released on TKO Records. The Germs and Krum Bums will be making stops in CT, NYC and NJ. Read on for more dates.
