Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers released their new album “The Bear” recently. They will be headlining next weekend (November 27th, 28th) at Bowery Ballroom with Carbon Leaf so check them out then! I’ll be there November 28th. Their new single “Shady Esperanto and the Young Hearts” is probably the best song they’ve done to date. their music video for that song also premiered recently on the interwebs. Check it out below! Carbon Leaf’s “Pink” available for Free in support of Breast Cancer Awareness

Folk rock band Carbon Leaf and their record label Vanguard Records are offering a free song for download in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. The song is “Pink,” which is about breast cancer. For every song that’s downloaded, Vanguard Records will donate $1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Carbon Leaf announce co-headlining tour with Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers


Carbon Leaf is quickly proving that they are one of the hardest working, touring bands in the country right now. The band is currently ending their first leg of their summer tour, which will conclude in Poughkeepsie, NY tomorrow night at the Loft (Come out to celebrate my brother and I’s 31st birthday!), and then in Portland Maine the next night. Then it’s off for another tour, this time being called “The Bear Rhymes With Woman Tour.” The band will be co-headlining with Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers.
