Band of Horses will support Widespread Panic for multiple night stands in Raleigh, NC and Orange Beach, AL this spring. Sup Pop Records indie rock band Grand Archives have a new album coming out soon and have announced tour dates for the Fall. Their new album will be called “Keep In Mind Frankenstein” and comes out September 9th. The Most Serene Republic from Toronto will be supporting the band on the tour. It’s been over 2 years since I saw the Shins play Terminal 5, this time I wanted to check them out at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ. The Shins play tonight at Terminal 5 in NYC, and also play their again on Thursday. If you’re expecting an energetic set from the Shins, you’ll be disappointed.

Band of Horses have announced additional US tour dates, including a late-August appearance at the Outside Lands Festival taking place at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The band will then make their way up the Pacific Northwest and return to Canada for a pair of shows in Victoria and Vancouver.

The crazy girl, Mel, from the HBO series opened up the concert, the actress/comedian Kristen Schaal. She has been featured on a number of shows, including The Daily Show and her own special for Comedy Central.

The Shins recently announced tour dates for May and are set to play Terminal 5 in NY and Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, NJ. Bowery Presents, who are putting on the shows, announced that the band has added another date to Terminal 5.
