Guns N’ Roses have been added to Governors Ball Music Festival. The 3rd annual edition of New York City’s “marquee live music event” will be held Friday June 7th through Sunday June 9th in Randall’s Island Park. The bands and musicians performing the festival include: Kanye “Gay Fish” West, Kings of Leon, Guns N’ Roses, NAS, Pretty Lights, The Avett Brothers, Grizzly Bear, The xx, Cut Copy, Beach House, Kendrick Lamar, The Lumineers, Animal Collective, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros and Steel Pulse. About the only band I’d really want to see out of this is probably Steel Pulse.

NOFX, Wax, Dead to Me and Nathen Maxwell and the Original Bunny Gang played blistering sets to a frenzied crowd, and when the dust had settled the event was able to collectively raise over $22,000 for UCP-Wheels for Humanity.
