2011 was a great year for me personally. Got married, went to Paris for our Honeymoon, and moved to Jersey city. 2011 was also great in music and movies as well but think 2012 will be even better with movies. The Hobbit, Dark Knight Rises and the Avengers! Wowza! In 2012, ReadJunk.com/Ska Punk Other Junk will be 15 years old! The site is still going (not strongly haha, but still going). I’ll also be starting a new web venture that I’m looking forward to starting but I’ll talk more about in the upcoming months. For now, see what I liked/disliked of 2011! Happy New Year Folks!

The Kooks announce their third album “”Junk Of The Heart” will be out September 12th

The Kooks haven’t really been in the news lately, and that’s because they have been working on their third album, their follow-up to the excellent Konk album. Junk of the Heart is the new title of the album and comes out September 12th (not sure if that’s the same release date in the dates).

This is one of my favorite photos this year. The shot is of Luke Pritchard of the Kooks at Terminal 5 in New York City. What I like about this shot is the composition, the lighting and the rockstar pose.
