Summer Nationals 2014 tour

Summer Nationals 2014 Tour announced featuring The Offspring, Bad Religion, Pennywise

Well this tour certainly sounds awesome! Summer Nationals 2014 tour has been announced and will feature The Offspring, Bad Religion, Pennywise and on select dates, The Vandals and Stiff Little Fingers. It’s funny, one tour like this has already made Warped Tour look lame in comparison. The tour will hit NYC on 2 days, August 4th and 5th. The Vandals will be playing those shows, not SLF. Tickets go on sale Friday at noon EST.

Quebec’s Amnesia Rockfest lineup is insane!

If There’s a festival I would drive 7 hours to, this might be in it! Quebec’s Amnesia Rockfest in Montebello, Quebec, Canada will be held on June 14th-15th and the lineup has been announced. Unlike Warped Tour where I want to see bands that I can count on just 1 hand, I need several hands for all the bands I want to see at this festival!

The Offspring – “Days Go By”

90s punk rock Playlist

ReadJunk Playlist: August 2010 (’90s Punk Rock Playlist)

Out of all the playlists I have done so far, I haven’t done anything specifically on punk rock. Originally I was going to do a playlist of punk songs from the ’70s-’00s but that was too broad. I’ve been in a ’90s punk rock mood lately, considering that’s when I fully got into punk rock. I’ve always been into punk since I was in elementary school but it wasn’t until the early/mid 90s where I got into punk rock full-time so to speak. I tried my best to come up with a kick-ass collection of punk rock songs from the ’90s, but I’m sure I missed some bands. But then again, this is my playlist and if I left a band off the list, it’s probably for a reason!
