We all know the only reason why people went to see this movie was to see Megan Fox. But then again, not that many people went to see this movie to begin with and with good reason. I always try to view movies with an open mind but after seeing this, I just hated Jennifer’s Body. If you’re a fan of Megan Fox, might be better to watch her in Transformers.

Sam Raimi is back making horror flicks, something he was born to do. He hasn’t done a horror movie since the Evil Dead movies. Since he has a few more movies under his belt, I’m sure this is ten times better than what he started out making. Drag Me To Hell is about a loan officer who turns down a loan, and gets cursed in the process. If she doesn’t pass along the curse, she gets sent to Hell. So this is family film then?

The most disturbing movie ever made…hands down!. I should have waited to do “My Top 10 Scariest Movies of All Time” article. I should have watched this first, and then wrote it. But, then again, this movie is so intense, so horrifying, so gut wrenching, and so brutal…it deserves its own article.

Believe it or not, I haven’t seen the majority of Alien movies. I’ve seen most of Alien 3, which I know isn’t the best one. I have them in my Netflix queue and I’m ready to watch them soon. I just never got around to seeing them and they look might scary too! Hell, I’m even scared of the Great Movie Ride in MGM Studios in Orlando! I’m a puss, what can I say. Anyway, 20th Century Fox has hired Jon Spaihts to write a prequel that has Ridley Scott attached to return as director. Since I love the work of Ridley Scott, I’ll definitely see this when I see the other films first.

Each DVD title links to Amazon.com, and if you purchase that product; the website gets a few cents! Woohoo!

Various reports are saying that Michael Jackson (The King of Pop, Captain EO) has died at the age of 50. He was rushed to the hospital from his home, and has believe to have suffer from a cardiac arrest. This is a sad day since Farrah and Michael have passed. He definitely had his very creepy moments but the guy sure knew how to entertain audiences. I grew up listening to his music when I was younger. I remember I used to break-dance to “Thriller” in Nursery School. I’m actually still scared of that music video! Shut up, it’s not funny! Despite his wacky and creepy lifestyle towards the end, he will be missed. I’ll try to attempt a moonwalk in his honor.

The latest Bryan Singer movie is an interesting one. I’m not sure every American will like this movie, even with what the German Resistance tried to do. But I found this story to be great, thrilling and heartbreaking. If you can get past Tom Cruise acting as a German, then you’ll enjoy this movie.

The surprise hit of 2009 is out on DVD and Blu-Ray in a multitude of editions. Taken is a movie I wanted to see in theaters but just never got around to it (like usual). I’ve heard lots of good things about Taken and decided to check it out on DVD. I thought the movie was a great non-stop action flick that deserves a sequel!
