Drummer of ska/punk staples Less Than Jake and owner of Paper + Plastick Records, Vinnie Fiorello has teamed up with heavyweight punk site Punknews.org to set up an auction of rare vinyl test-pressings and collectors items on www.LimitedPressing.com, of which 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Doctors Without Borders organization (www.doctorswithoutborders.org).

Fake Problems have had an amazing year of highs and lows. From the release of their album, It’s Great to Be Alive, to their European tour including Reading and Leeds Festivals and a run of 14 sold out shows with Frank Turner that sold over 15K tickets, to the loss of a close family member and friend which led them to cancel their first extremely successful headline tour.

New Jersey post-hardcore innovators Thursday have announced their headlining fall US tour in support of their critically acclaimed new album Common Existence. The band will cross the country over Sept and Oct with experimental prog-group The Fall of Troy in main support and select dates with noise-rockers Young Widows and prog-rock band The Dear Hunter. Ticket pre-sales will be offered through Thursday’s Doves Club at Artist Arena beginning July 30; public on-sales will begin August 7.

After label changes, rumors about breaking up, and four killer albums, Thursday has regrouped to continue to promote their latest album, A City By The Light Divided (Island Records) on the 2006 Warped Tour. Keyboardist and most recent addition to the band, Andrew Everding shared some important insight to offer help explain how a number of these rumors about Thursday were started.
