Video: Greenberg clips and trailer

Last week, Focus Features premiered three new clips from Greenberg, which stars Ben Stiller. The new clips feature Ben Stiller, Rhys Ifans, and Greta Gerwig. I’m not sure what to think of it just yet, but it’s a different movie that Ben Stiller has been in. It seems more like a drama than a comedy. The movies comes out March 26th.

Trailer: Cheech & Chong’s Animated Movie

Cheech and Chong have been reunited for over a year or so now, doing their stand-up act throughout the country. Now they are returning to the big screen…but in animated form. The trailer premiered on the net today and I’m not sure what to think about it. The animation looks like a senior high school class animated it for a project, and the story looks stupid and has an abundance of fart jokes. Originally I was interested in a reunion movie but after seeing this, I think I’ll just watch the older movies now. Watch the trailer below and let me know what you think:

Trailer: Kick-Ass (Red Band Trailer #2)

The 2nd red band full trailer for Kick-Ass has hit the net and it looks friggin’ awesome! On top of it having some cool action, the movie looks hysterical as well. I have a feeling Hit Girl is going to be a scene-stealer. You can also see Nicolas Cage dressed up like Batman minus the pointy ears. The films stars Aaron Johnson, Nic Cage, Mark Strong, and Chloe Moretz. It was directed by Matthew Vaughn who has directed Stardust and Layer Cake and has produced Lock, Stock and Snatch. Kick-Ass comes out April 16th! Watch the age-restricted trailer below:

Trailer: Get Him To The Greek

The trailer for Get Him To The Greek, the spin-off comedy of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, has premiered on Apple.com! You first saw Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) in Forgetting Sarah Marshall as the gyrating, over-the-top celebrity boyfriend of Sarah Marshall, but now he has his own movie that also stars Jonah Hill and Sean Puffy Combs. I absolutely loved his character in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and also loved the songs Brand sang as well. I’m hoping there’s a full soundtrack of his music this time! Based on the trailer, it looks like it’s either going to be a piece of shit or a funny friggin’ movie. Maybe a red band trailer will premiere soon with some better footage?

Trailer: MacGruber (restricted trailer)

The restricted, full trailer for MacGruber is now available! I’ve been a fan of the sketches since Day 1 obviously, and can’t wait to see MacGruber on April 23rd, 2010. The movie stars Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Val Kilmer, Powers Boothe and Ryan Phillipe. Based on the trailer, it looks like the comedy will be a cross between MacGyver, Austin Powers, and Zoolander. You can watch the high-res version here, but make sure you enter your correct info to see this. This age limit thing is a bit annoying…. Watch the trailer from Trailer Addict down below:

Trailer: Hot Tub Time Machine

news_1209_hottubtimemachine
The latest comedy trailer premiered last night and it’s called Hot Tub Time Machine starring John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke and Chevy Chase. 4 buddies go back in time to the 1980s and other times which I’m sure will be very funny. It’s good to see Cusack doing a straight up comedy again and not some romantic comedy or drama. The movie comes out March 19, 2010.

Trailer: Iron Man 2

news_1209_ironman2
The teaser trailer for Iron Man 2 premiered on Apple.com last night. The trailer is everything I expected it to be, and I simply can’t wait for Iron Man 2 this summer! You see Tony Shark showing off like he’s know to do, you get to see Whiplash spoil Tony’s fun, Scarlet Johansson as Black Widow, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and at the end..War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Iron Man shooting away. Very cool!

Trailer: Youth in Revolt (red band trailer)

news_1209_youthinrevolt
The “red band” trailer for the latest Michael Cera comedy Youth In Revolt has premiered on FunnyorDie.com. I haven’t seen the trailer until now but the movie looks like it has potential. Cera seems to play the same awkward character, since…well, since Arrested Development. But this time he has an alter ego that’s suave and has a mustache. Big difference. Check out the trailer below:
