The Muppets coming to Blu-Ray/DVD on March 20th
The Muppets Blu-Ray and DVD is coming out on March 20th from Walt Disney. I’ve heard lots of good things about the movie but didn’t get around to seeing it yet. Quite frankly, I was getting sick of seeing the trailer for it every movie I saw in the theater. Plus, it’s always nice to see a Muppet or children movie at home, where there is no crying or talkative kids so looking forward to seeing this one. Press release is below:

TRON: Legacy & TRON: The Original Classic Blu-Ray & DVD out April 5th
TRON: Legacy may have been disappointing to some, but I really enjoyed it! TRON: Legacy and TRON have both been announced on Blu-Ray, 3D Blu-ray, DVD for April 5th 2011. The movie is worth seeing just for the Daft Punk score, plus I just liked the movie besides that. In 2005, I reviewed Alice in Wonderland: Masterpiece Edition. Since then, there’s been another edition DVD, a live action Alice in Wonderland movie directed by Tim Burton, and now there’s a 60th anniversary edition Blu-Ray/DVD Combo. Obviously, getting this Blu-Ray will be your best option to see the movie like you’ve never seen it before!

Fantasia might not be top on kid’s list for the best Disney movie but it was certainly an enjoyable animated movie that sparked my interest in classical music and film scores. I haven’t seen Fantasia 2000 until now but it’s just as enjoyable!

One of my favorite movies of the year, Toy Story 3, is coming out on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 2nd, 2010 from Walt Disney Home Entertainment. You can also purchase a Ultimate Toy Box 3-Movie Collection which contains the movies on DVD and Blu-Ray. Would make for a wonderful Holiday present! Toy Story 3 was just as good as the previous 2 movies and it still makes you want to see more of Woody, Buzz and the rest of the remaining toys! Plus, Michael Keaton’s Ken was a scene stealer! Out of the all the Disney classic animated movies, this was one I never saw or don’t remember seeing. The Black Cauldron came out in 1985 and wasn’t a hit; could be why I never saw it until now? But Disney has decided to release a 25th Anniversary Edition DVD in honor of it’s anniversary. This movie isn’t for everybody, certainly for not all children but someone out there will appreciate this movie on DVD.

Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 coming to DVD and Blu-Ray in November
Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 are coming to DVD and Blu-Ray on November 30th, 2010 from Disney. Fantasia has been on DVD before but has been out of print for over a decade. I love Fantasia because I just love the music and there’s not much dialogue or any in the cartoons. Just put it on before bed and you’re out like a baby. The animation is also fantastic as well. I haven’t seen Fantasia 2000 so I can’t comment on that one but this is something I’ll want to see when it comes out in November.
