The Dropkick Murphys are getting into the Christmas spirit with the release of a brand new music video for the song “The Season’s Upon Us.” The video was #1 at MTV.com the other day, which raises questions, MTV is still around and they actually played music (even though it was on their website?). The video is really funny and seems like it was written by Denis Leary. The video is worth watching, especially if you like the band and want to get into the Xmas spirit.

The album will be released in October, that seems a little early to release it. But then again I still listen to songs from Carbon Leaf’s Christmas Child album from last year all year round so I guess it’s okay.

We’re in the middle of the holiday season and what better way to celebrate with an overload and abundance of Jingle Bells and Santa songs! Yippee! Most of these tracks are ones I like, some aren’t but felt the need to list them anyway. I tried to find some Hanukkah songs but only managed to find a couple.
