
The official 2010 Streamy Awards nominees were announced today. Hmm, never heard of the Streamy Awards but it’s only it’s 2nd year. The 2nd Annual Streamy Award events will be held on April 11, 2010 at The Music Box @ Fonda Theater in Hollywood, California. The leaders in the nominations include The Bannen Way with Seven Streamy Award Nominations, followed by The Guild, Auto-Tune the News, and Easy To Assemble. Other notable nominations include Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Zach Galifianakis, David Wain, Weird Al, Nathan Fillion and Wil Wheaton.

One of the most over-hyped comedies is getting a sequel. Todd Phillips confirmed to Variety that the comedy will be returning to the big screen in 2011 with it’s original stars Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms. I think it’s inevitable that this got a sequel when a comedy like this makes over $200 million at the box office. I might be the only one who thought The Hangover wasn’t that funny and felt like a bunch of college kids wrote the script for their film-making class. “oh oh, and then they’ll have a naked Asian guy jump out of the trunk!” The funniest part of the movie ended up being the final credits (when they showed pictures from the party). But in the end, The Hangover is just a generic Vegas comedy to me, but everyone loves it for some reason. Whatever.
