No, but it is hard to resist the delicious temptation of a pair of hostess cupcakes.
You’re new album “Charge!” Is about to be release, how is this album different from your others? Do Blue Falcon & Dynomutt make a guest appearance?
It is way better than any of the other records, that is how it is different. All the other ones totally suck compared to this one. And DynoMutt was in Vienna hunting elk in the Black Forest during our recording.
Weren’t you guys a ska band? Did you take a bribe from Lex Luthor to change your music style?
Well since we never made a shirt that said hey “we are the Aquabats and we are SKA SKA SKA! PICK IT UP! “We never qualified for the ska olympics therefore disqualifying us for labelization. We are a band of super heroes that play music. Ska bands are musicians who play only ska rythms and have ska on their t-shirts. BUT if you bribed us, we would change our style in a heart beat…even to bad poser ska. I do love ska dont get me wrong but it is weak to say we were ever 100% ska, it make you look dumb.
On your CD cover for Charge!, you’re all in a boat. Which member is the biggest Seaman?
Crash. He is the fattest. Then me. Really “rad” question, by the way.
Does the Boy Wonder design your costumes? They are spiffy.

How do you decide what color superhero costume to wear on stage? Is there any conflict among the group, when one member might want to wear the green costume and another might want to wear the blue costume?
No see we dont decide. we just know. Man, it’s crasee. Like tears in rain.
Is it true The Aquabats performed at the Hall of Justice? Did the Wonder Twins skank for your set?
No but we eat a lot of Wonder bread. And we watched Kids in the Hall…of Justice….once.
If Spiderman had a favorite ice cream, what would it be?
Vanilla, because he loves to be bored.
Which superhero has the dumbest power?

Your clever cover of Operation Ivy’s “Knowledge” was awesome in my opinion. Would you guys ever do a whole album of The Aquabats & kids singing ska punk songs around the campfire?
Yeah, that is somehting I would love to do. Like a campfire sing along songs record for kids. Yes, please.
Who would win in a fight: The Aquabats or GWAR? Why?
We already fought them and we already won. Sheesh! Where have you been? I hate to say this but you were probably 6 years old when we fought GWAR. We are old.
Weren’t you guys going to do a TV show/cartoon a few years back? What happened? Was “The Man” not a ska fan?
The Man doesnt like anything that has risk attached to it. So we stopped playing Risk and have been brushing up on Yatzee. We also have a Zim Zam for tour. TV show- Pee Zee Shmo
What did you think of Star Wars Episode 3?
Like watching a video game. Fun to watch but no emotion. I forgot all about it the minute I got back to my car. I liked it though. I also love Donkey Kong.
Did you have any favorite Star Wars toys when growing up ?
Yes.

Gladiator.
Who is your biggest villain?
The Time Vampire,…he just sucks time away into a vacuum…and there it sits.

No, but definitely in the top five.
