Music Video: California Wives – “Purple”

I’ve been posting a lot about California Wives lately and well here’s another post. The band’s video for “Purple” aired on MTV of all places, during the VMA’s last night. I didn’t see it because quite frankly, I can’t watch a bunch of no talent ass-hats accept awards. Chicago new-wave quartet California Wives premiered their new video for ‘Purple’ as a TV spot during last night’s 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. The band collaborated with Sharpie® to create a music video that showcased the work of hundreds of artists and fans of the Sharpie® medium and brand. The single ‘Purple’ was previously premiered with Paste, and is taken from the band’s full length debut, Art History, out now on Vagrant.
