Dirty Heads premiered a new music video the other day for “Silence.” I haven’t really listened to the new album but what happened to the reggae rock sound? Anyway, here’s the music video.
Dirty Heads have released of a brand new music video for the song “Silence” from their new album Sound of Change. The video made its premiere exclusively at Yahoo! Music and is now online. While on tour this summer, “Silence” quickly became a live favorite for both fans and the band alike. The video was quickly filmed during a break in their summer tour schedule as a thank you to fans. Dirty Heads will kick off the fall and winter legs of their North American and European tour in October with the first series of headlining shows taking place in their home state of California, supporting the release of their new studio album Sound of Change. Long-time friend, collaborator and producer, Rome, will serve as support act. For up-to-date information visit the band online at www.dirtyheads.com.
“‘Silence’ is probably my favorite song on the album,” said singer Jared Watson. “There’s just something about it. That song, to me, is just so big and nasty and dark and badass…I just love it. It gives me goose bumps every time I hear it. The whole idea behind it is that the ‘silence is deafening.’ Silence is a very, very powerful thing.”
