Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

Everclear will release their 9th album, Black Is The New Black, Spring 2015 via The End Records. They premiered a lyric video for “The Man Who Broke His Own Heart” at Yahoo Music this morning, and the song doesn’t sound that bad. You can also watch the video below as well.

Says Everclear’s founding frontman, Art Alexakis: “We are really excited… It’s an unapologetic rock record that I feel combines the best of classic Everclear with contemporary production and what I feel is some of my best songwriting in years!”

For over two decades, Everclear’s sound has reflected the rock, post-punk, and singer/songwriter influences of Alexakis, including acts like X, The Replacements, The Pixies, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Elvis Costello. The band found success with their first three albums on Capitol Records, with Spark And Fade, So Much For The Afterglow, and Songs From An American Movie Vol. One: Learning How To Smile, all going certified platinum.

Continuing the legacy this summer, Alexakis will lead the charge on Summerland 2015, the fourth-annual 1990s music tour named in its inception year by Rolling Stone as one of “The Ten Hottest Summer Package Tours.”
