Belfast singer-songwriter Gareth Dunlop released his debut video for the beautiful track “Wrap Your Arms Around Me.” I haven’t heard much from him but I’m definitely going to check out more material! The song recently appeared in the film Safe Haven, garnering the singer-songwriter some exposure in the USA. Currently, Gareth is in the studio recording the follow up to his critically acclaimed EP, The Devil Mocks Me (Moraine Records / Priory Records).

His newest release, and first video, is for “Wrap Your Arms Around Me” from Safe Haven, the film directed by Oscar-nominee Lasse Hallström and based on the best-selling novel by Nicholas Sparks. In the movie and on the soundtrack, he appears alongside Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw, Amos Lee, Brandi Carlile, Ben Harper and more. Gareth’s finely crafted songs have also been featured in television shows such as House, Cougar Town, Private Practice, Army Wives, as well as commercials for Subaru and Discover Ireland. Gareth has shared the stage with such diverse artists as Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, the Stereophonics, Snow Patrol, Nanci Griffith and The Steeldrivers.
