Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

The Talks have released a catchy new single called “Can Stand The Rain,” which features Neville Staple of the Specials. The band has opened up for the legendary ska band so it makes sense for Neville to guest sing on one of their tracks. It’s a cool tune, so check out the music video below.

The Talks new single “Can Stand the Rain” features Neville Staple (The Specials) on guest vocals.

A seed was planted back in 2009, when the lads were supporting ‘The Specials’ on their much anticipated reunion tour, when discussions began between long term friends Neville Staple and Pat
(Talks) for a future collaboration.

3 years down the line and we have the result. ‘Can Stand The Rain’, a catchy ska song, bringing positive trad ska vibes whilst delivering social commentary with a political edge.

Based in Hull (UK), The Talks have been hyping up crowds with their live shows all over Europe since their conception in the summer of 2006.

Over that time, the band has played a whole range of venues and festivals across Europe, including; Leeds/Reading and Glastonbury festivals, tours in Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as tours with many great bands including; Rancid, The Specials, King Hammond, The Toasters, The Beat and many others.

“Can Stand the Rain” featuring Neville Staple will be released on the 26th November 2012 as a digital download on All Our Own Records. There is also talk of a possible special limited edition CD/Vinyl pressing
