Gotta love punk rock/ ska/ hardcore documentaries! Riot on the Dance Floor is about City Gardens, a place in Trenton NJ that was run by Randy Now. The club booked all the big bands of the 80s and 90s, but it was notorious for shady area and stuff that happened inside the club as well. This documentary was filmed by Steve Tozzi and features a ton of bands & musicians from Bouncing Souls, Ian MacKeye, Bigger Thomas, Descendents, NY Citizens, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Bad Brains and even features Jon Stewart. Yes that Jon Stewart! It successfully raised the money on Kickstarter and should be out in 2013. Very exciting time in the world of music documentaries!
