Dinner for Schmucks came out this summer and I never got around to seeing it (along with many other movies). I’m not sure how good it is, but it looked amusing from the trailer. The comedy was directed by Jay Roach and stars Steve Carell and Paul Rudd. The DVD and Blu-Ray will come out on January 4th 2011 from Paramount. Read the press release below:

The film also boasts an extraordinary supporting cast of comedic talent including Zach Galifianakis (Due Date, The Hangover), Jemaine Clement (“The Flight of the Conchords”), Jeff Dunham (“The Jeff Dunham Show”), Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek), Ron Livingston (Office Space), Lucy Punch (You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger), David Walliams (“Little Britain USA”), Larry Wilmore (“The Office”) and Kristen Schaal

The DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS DVD and Blu-ray presentations include uproarious special features such as a behind-the-scenes look with the cast called “The Biggest Schmucks in the World”, a hilarious gag reel entitled “Schmuck Ups” and deleted scenes. The Blu-ray also includes a look at the men behind the Mousterpieces, a montage of the guests at the infamous dinner and a spoof of LeBron James’ press conference by Steve Carell and Paul Rudd.


The DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS DVD is presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs with Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround, French 5.1 Surround, Spanish 5.1 Surround and English Audio Description and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The Blu-ray is presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, French 5.1 Dolby Digital, Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital, Brazilian Portuguese 5.1 Dolby Digital and English Audio Description and English, English SDH, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles.
