Oaks, PA- Music Video Distributors and Secret Films are pleased to announce the home viewing release of five new DVDs for US distribution. These titles will be released on May 16, 2006 (prebook cutoff of April 11) and each DVD will boast a $19.95 retail price:

LEE SCRATCH PERRY – ULTIMATE ALIEN

This 9-song set was filmed & recorded at Concorde 2 in Brighton, England on February 19th 2002. It’s presented here in Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and features exclusive interviews including one special Lee Perry interview reflecting on his life. Also featured is exclusive behind the scenes rehearsal and location footage, “Return Of Django” Audio track, five commercial advertising clips featuring Lee Scratch’ Perry, and a comprehensive biography.

SHAM 69 – HERSHAM BOYS

This 21-song set was filmed & recorded at Concorde 2 in Brighton, England on April 10th 2002. It’s presented here in Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and features an exclusive interview and a comprehensive band biography. Sham 69 was the original voice of the people in the first wave of British punk. They enjoyed a long run of chart successes and were an immense influence on the street punk and Oi! movements which followed. This DVD brilliantly displays their signature straight-up punk and sing-along slogan sound.

STIFF LITTLE FINGERS – HANDHELD AND RIGIDLY DIGITAL

This 16-song set was filmed & recorded on the Hope Street Tour in December ’98. It’s presented here in Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and features an exclusive interview with Jake Burns. “The “Hope St.” tour was among the most successful we have undertaken in recent years and I don’t just mean from the point of view of attendances, although those were encouragingly up as well. What happened was everyone played better, laughed more and generally had more fun on the road than we’d had in ages. It really was a shame when the whole thing stopped.” – Jake Burns

G.B.H. – CHARGED: ON STAGE

This 17-song set was filmed & recorded at The Coronet in London on August, 29th 2004. It’s presented here in Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, 2.0 Dolby Stereo & PCM Stereo. It also features an exclusive interview and on the road footage. G.B.H. originally formed in 1979 in Birmingham, England, then rose to prominence in the early ’80s when hardcore punk began inching toward heavy metal. Through the years, they have remained a staple of punk rock fans worldwide. This DVD is a perfect example of their tenacious presentation.

TOY DOLLS – OUR LAST DVD?

This impressive performance presented in Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and nearly 2 1/2 hours long, was filmed & recorded at Tivoli in Utrecht, Holland on November 20th 2004. The DVD also features an exclusive interview with Olga (Michael Algar), and “on tour” and rehearsal footage. The Toy Dolls formed in Sunderland, England, in October of 1979 and have been providing audiences with their patented punk rock ever since. This DVD is a fitting last hoorah for what is rumored to be the band’s last tour.
