RIP: Philip Seymour Hoffman passed away at the age of 46
Movie News | Feb 2nd, 2014
This was such sad news to hear as you’re heading home from a nice trip to Manhattan. Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has passed away at the age of 46. Apparently Hoffman died of an overdose in his NYC apartment. What a damn waste to go out on stupid drugs. Hoffman was recently seen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire; I’m not sure what that means for the 2 parts of the final movie now. Did he film his stuff? Other notable performances from Hoffman include: Almost Famous, Capote, The Master, Doubt, Boogie Nights, Charlie Wilson’s War and lots more. PSH’s excellent & usual creepy performances will be missed!
Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his Manhattan apartment, the Wall Street Journal reported Sunday (Feb. 2).
The 46-year-old actor’s cause of death has yet to be determined but the New York Police Department is investigating and a law-enforcement official confirmed to WSJ that the Academy Award-winning actor was found dead in his West Village home.
