Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

Band of Horses were inspired by Cee Lo’s viral smash cover of ‘No One’s Gonna Love You,’ so they have decided to return the favor! The band have teamed with the University of Georgia Redcoat Marching Band for their own unique take on Cee Lo’s ‘Georgia,’ the recently leaked track from Cee Lo’s forthcoming Lady Killer album.

Ben Bridwell explains the genesis of the cover: “This began as a very random idea I had on my dad’s patio after we watched our beloved Georgia Bulldog football team get robbed of a win at the hands of the referees and LSU last year. I knew I wanted to pay homage to my favorite team in song but didn’t have any idea how to begin. Once I heard Cee-Lo’s ‘Georgia,’ I was immediately smitten and figured that’s as good as any tribute to any state I’ve ever heard.”

The band went on to record the song with the UGA Redcoat Marching Band, and the track is now available digitally at www.bandofhorses.com/Georgia . At the same site, there is a preorder available for a split 7″ featuring BOH’s take on “Georgia” and Cee Lo’s take on “No One’s Gonna Love You,” along with a t-shirt featuring BOH and Georgia-themed artwork! Head to bandofhorses.com/Georgia now and check it out!
