Big B Releases New Single “Here Comes The Lightning” and Touring With Dirty Heads

Music News | May 9th, 2013

Big B has officially released his new single “Here Comes The Lightning”, which was co-written by Pink and producer Butch Walker. The track is the lead single from Big B’s new album Fool’s Gold, which is scheduled for a July 9th release through Suburban Noize Records. I really wanted to hate this single but it’s actually a really catchy tune and has a summer-y feel to it! Big B will be touring with Dirty Heads and The Expendables starting in June.

“Pink is a good friend of mine and we always wanted to do something together, but the timing never worked out because of her insane schedule,” says Big B. “For this album everything just worked out as she had the time to work on a track together with Butch Walker. It was cool mesh my writing style with theirs, and the song we created together turned out to be one of my favorite songs on the record.”

Big B’s new album “Fool’s Gold” features musical collaborations with Slightly Stoopid, The Dirty Heads, and members of legendary punk outfits NOFX and Pennywise. The end result is a collection of songs that are just as contagious as Big B’s thuggish charm. With the entire music industry focused on finding the next huge star on reality television, Big B has taken a back-to-basics approach on “Fool’s Gold” and filled it with fun spirited songs that can fit into any music lover’s playlist. The album is rich is musical diversity and is cleverly inventive, as Big B seamlessly bridges the gap between rock, hip-hop, and alternative.
