Carbon Leaf announces Ragtime Carnival 2015

announced their second annual Ragtime Carnival lineup the other day. Some of the bands & musicians performing (besides Carbon Leaf) will be Jeff Daniels & the Ben Daniels Band, Red Wanting Blue, Trigger Hippy (featuring Joan Osborne and former Black Crows members Jackie Green and Steve Gorman), Sons of Bill, Scythian and more! The dates will be May 15th and 16th and the festival and camp out will be held at Pocahontas State Park in Virginia.

Carbon Leaf, in partnership with The Virginia Museum of Radio & Concert Entertainment (VMRCE), announces the 2nd Annual Carbon Leaf’s Ragtime Carnival at Pocahontas State Park. This year the festival will take place over two days, May 15 & 16, featuring 13 bands on two stages.

Carbon Leaf will perform three sets over the weekend, an acoustic set Saturday morning, and full-band performances closing out each night. Additional artists performing at Ragtime Carnival include actor/director Jeff Daniels with the Ben Daniels Band, Trigger Hippy feat. Joan Osborne and former Black Crows members Jackie Green and Steve Gorman, as well as Charlottesville-based band Sons of Bill.

Two-day general admission tickets are also available for $35.00.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 20th at 10am through www.pocahontaslive.com, Brocks Bar-B-Que in Chester, and the Pocahontas State Park office.

ACCOMODATIONS

Tent camping for Carbon Leaf’s Ragtime Carnival can be reserved through www.pocahontaslive.com. Camping rates are $12 per person for one night or $20 per person for both nights. See website for camping restrictions and guidelines.
