Dropkick Murphys’ major label debut out September 18th

The Boston Celtic punk band, The Dropkick Murphys have revealed some details on their next album. The album will be called ‘The Meanest of Times’ and it will be released on their own label Born and Bred Records, as well as get major label support from Warner Brothers. Guests on the album include members of the Dubliners and the Pogues! The album is set to drop September 18th.

Dropkicks’ popularity grew after their song “Shipping up to Boston” was featured in the movie The Departed. HBO and Cinemax plan to do a feature on the band before the TV premiere of the movie as well.
