Escondido touring with The Staves this May
Music News | Apr 18th, 2013
Escondido just played Conan recently, and now have announced select tour dates with The Staves. They will be playing a full band show at Mercury Lounge on May 17th in NYC.
Nashville’s Escondido – lead by the duo of Tyler James and Jessica Maros – will open for The Staves in May, with full band performances in select markets.
Inspired by the desert, Ennio Morricone, and spaghetti-Westerns, Escondido has been described as “If Clint Eastwood’s Man with No Name stepped into a vintage El Camino and turned on the radio, Escondido would come blaring out of the speakers.” by Garden & Gun Magazine
“…one of the rare alt-country crossover acts with highbrow cred…It’s [“Black Roses” video/single] country but with a cinéaste’s touch…” – Vogue.com “Band of the Week”
