LOS ANGELES, CA, MARCH 19, 2012 – Celebrated gypsy punk rockers Gogol Bordello announced a North American tour that will see the band headline shows in US and Canada while making first time festival stops at The Hangout in Gulf Shores, AL and at Summer Camp in Chillicothe, IL. The tour, dubbed the Radio Hutz Tour, will mark the band’s debut at Boston’s waterfront Bank of America Amphitheater. Mariachi El Bronx and Two Gallants will support on several dates with more support acts to be announced soon. In addition, Gogol Bordello will reunite with 2010 tour mates, Primus, for two co-headline dates in Pittsburgh, PA on May 22nd and Columbus, OH on May 23rd.

Gogol Bordello’s live show is a “wildly exuberant” (NPR) musical experience whose head-spinning mix of rock, punk, rap, roots reggae, and dub unifies people of all ages and identities. The multi-ethnic rock group has been making supercharged music since first bursting onto New York’s downtown music scene in 1999 and have grown into an international touring powerhouse headlining stages and captivating audiences around the globe.

Gogol Bordello will head to South America in late March where they will play several headline and festival shows to include main stage slots at Lollapalooza Chile and the inaugural Lollapalooza Brazil. These Brazilian dates mark the band’s return to Brazil since the release of their album, Trans-Continental Hustle. In support of the album’s title track, the band recently released a self-produced video filmed on the streets of Rio where Ukrainian-born lead singer/guitarist/songwriter, Eugene Hutz, now calls home.

The band has plans to hit the studio this fall to record their sixth studio album, the follow up to the 2010 Rick Rubin produced Trans-Continental Hustle.
