Hinder, rock’s biggest success of 2006, has announced the next leg of their tour in support of the band’s just-certified double platinum debut release, Extreme Behavior. The Oklahoma City quintet has been touring aggressively since the 2005 release of the debut. The next round of dates began with an Orange Bowl appearance on January 1st, with early 2007 dates including stops in Seattle, Chicago and New York (full schedule listed below).

Hinder has become one of the few new breakout success stories of 2006, with Extreme Behavior jumping to #6 on the Billboard 200 in November. The band’s monster hit single “Lips Of An Angel” has reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, top 5 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart and climbed the radio airplay charts to #1 at Mainstream Top 40 radio where it remained for 3 weeks. The video continues to be one of the highest played videos on VH1. Digital sales of the single have surpassed the 1.5 million mark. The band toured non-stop headlining shows and opened for Godsmack, and Nickelback, as well as select dates for rock legends Aerosmith. Additionally, Hinder picked up a nomination for Best New Touring Artist from Pollstar’s Concert Industry Awards, which take place in February 2007.
