The Dangerous Summer emerged in August of 2006. The high school quartet hit the studio in December of 2006 with producer Paul Leavitt (Dashboard Confessional, Senses Fail, All Time Low). They self-released their debut EP, There Is No Such Thing As Science in January of 2007. Shortly after its release, the EP gained quite a buzz from the support of hometown friends, All Time Low and a devoted online fan base. The Dangerous Summer finished out their senior year of high school touring whenever class let out, which helped them land opening gigs for Cartel, Hit The Lights and Valencia.
