Jesse Malin announces Summer West Coast tour
Music News | Aug 2nd, 2012
Jesse Malin is hard at work on a new album, but that’s not going to stop him from touring over on the West Coast. Jesse Malin will be playing in mostly California and a couple stops in Arizona and Colorado.
In 2010 Jesse and The St. Marks Social released Love it To Life, produced by Ted Hutt (Gaslight Anthem, Lucero, Flogging Molly) for SideOneDummy Records, which was referred to as “the best album of his career,” by Paste Magazine. After two years of relentless touring, Malin is back home in NYC writing songs for a new solo album and a new D Generation record. He also and hosts a monthly radio show on Sirius’s Spectrum with John Varvatos entitled “New York Nights.”
Following his upcoming dates with Alejandro Escovedo & The Sensitive Boys, Malin is announcing plans to enter the studio later this year to begin recording both his latest solo album, which promises to be his most groundbreaking and original to date, as well as the new full-length album for D-Generation.
