Anti- recording artist Jolie Holland will hit the road in January for her final national tour supporting the 2004 release Escondida. Beginning January 21st at the Boulder Theater in Colorado and lasting through the end of February, the tour will take Jolie through ever major market across the country one final time before she begins working on her new studio album. Jolie Holland along with her band (Dave Mihaly on drums and Brian Miller on guitar) have recently finished up a tour down under in New Zealand and Australia, selling out shows and getting tons of radio, television, and print coverage.
Jolie’s performances promise to deliver powerful and haunting vocals backed by her melodic blues band. NPR raves: “Jolie Holland has a voice reminiscent of some of the great old blues vocalists, but the fresh approach of a 21st century singer and songwriter…and unschooled style with soul and heartache.”
Following the Boulder show, Jolie will travel eastward. She will hit East Coast cities from Atlanta to Boston before heading west to tour back across the States hitting different markets, ending on the west coast in late February.
