LiveDaily: Curt and Cris Kirkwood–two-thirds of influential alternative act Meat Puppets (tickets | music)–will reunite behind a new album this year, touring together for the first time in more than a decade.

The revamped Meat Puppets will play a few shows in May, kicking off May 15 in West Hollywood, CA, before launching a more extensive tour this summer, closer to the July 17 release of “Rose to Your Knees,” according to the band’s publicist. The current itinerary is included below.
