Hollywood Reporter: The RIAA has filed federal suits against seven retailers in New York and Florida, alleging their stores have been marketing pirated CDs. The stores — mostly convenience stores and corner markets — are accused of selling counterfeit rap and Latin music CDs despite overtures to settle from the music trade group. The suits are a continuation of an anti-piracy campaign launched by the RIAA in 2002.
